How do u put music onto your ipod?

Tell me as if i was a dummy. How do i put music onto an ipod a step by step

Open itunes
make a new playlist
drag and drop songs into the playlist
click the ipod icon (bottom right) update ipod

plug ipod in.
click the little ipod thing in the bottom corner.
make it so you manually put in songs.
drag and drop songs from your library to the ipod tab.

What I do

Plug ipod in
Open itunes
Put the songs you want into the library of itunes (using file > add folder/file)
right click ipod icon on the side
click update

it saves alot of time by dragging music files from whatever you used to download with ie. limewire; just minimize both windows and highlight all songs you want (that are downloaded) on limewire, then the highlighted to itunes.

If you download on Limewire, click on Completed then the Explore tab, then highlight all the songs, right click, go to "Play with..." and select "iTunes".

And there you go.

i just go to

my music -> copy song(s) you want -> paste into iTunes -> update
