y = 15 ;)
Working:
(5(2y-3)) / 3y = 3
5(2y-3) = 9y
10y - 15 = 9y
-15 = -y
y = 15

:o Copying is never the answer - you don't learn anything and also when I copied I got into troble, so copying isnt the answer...

y = 15 ;)
Working:
(5(2y-3)) / 3y = 3
5(2y-3) = 9y
10y - 15 = 9y
-15 = -y
y = 15
:o you are very clever i would of never got that lol

So basically the answer is 15 ???

???
THE ANSWER IS NOT 15
The answer is -3.75
Here's how i worked it out:
5(y-3) / 3y =3
multiply out brackets
5y-15 / 3y =3
multiply everything by 3y to remove fraction
5y-15=9y
move y's to one side of the equation
-15=9y-5y
so
4y=-15
then y on its own is
y= -15 / 4
therefore
y=-3.75
If you put 15 in the original equation, you get 1.333, not 3

Im not sure if thats correct alex because u would have to Times y by 5 which would be -18.5 so you couldnt really get 3 from that im affraid.
Im not sure on the correct answer however.

Concentric was right, but when you simplify it, it becomes 1.5.

But if u put -3.75 into the equation:
5(-3.75-3) / 3*-3.75 = 3
5*-6.75 / -11.25 = 3
-33.75 / -11.25 = 3

Sorry, the answer is 15
I was using the equation 5(y-3) / 3y = 3 instead of 5(2y-3) / 3y = 3
My bad :)
