ok well like, i've practically stopped growing upwards now, and started growing outwards  i'm still 'apparantly' underweight for my height, but tbh i don't look or feel it. i'm 6ft and weigh a little over 12 stone. anyway, i wanna lose that, tone up a bit, have a nice, toned, athletic body, and try to be a bit healthier. so like, stuff to eat, stuff to avoid, activities to do, activities to avoid. i wanna start swimming, and like proper swimming lengths and stuff, but the problem is i really don't wanna go on my own, i wanna go with a friend but none of mine will come with me. oh and is it a good idea to join my local gym?

i really need help, so anything is appriciated.

Not sure, i fancy you anyway and i like your body.
but still as someone once said "we are our own biggest critics"

just try to avoid / cut down on dairy, fatty foods, ready meals and most 'luxuries'. Make sure they stay luxuries.

work out a good exercise plan, and treat yourself for every mile stone you've set yourself.

Yeah swimming is a really good exercise so going swimming would be good. and even though you don't wanna go on your own, i say you should, you'll probably prefer it anyway. and joining your gym is a good idea. i go to a gym, and i didnt wanna go without a friend either, but she'd never wanna go as much and i was annoyed at myself for not being able to go on my own just because she wouldnt come. but now i always go on my own and tbh i prefer it that way.

i'd join the gym and make sure you do cardio aswell as weights to tone yourself up and get fit. 5 fruit and veg a day blah blah blah etc. and that should help. :]

im the same 6 ft bout 12 stone but am well toned etc. quiet muscly best thing to do if you dont want to spend money do simple things like press ups stomach crunches the press ups will make your arms more muscular and the stomach crunches will obviously tone your stomach etc. if you dont mind spending go to a gym go with a friend so its not as boring and you my find it a bit intimidating etc. but im a regular and enjoy it i now go there to keep fit and have a laugh i enjoy it and things so if you want to tone up i suggest you go to a gym etc. :]

I really wouldn't worry about being underweight, if you eat healthily and generally have good health, you'll be fine. The only time you really need to worry is if you're intentionally staying underweight by not eating and skipping meals etc.

Regular exercise will help you tone up, and eating healthily :)
