Do you believe that everything happens for a reason? Do you think that your life is already planned out and that? I really believe that.
Cause like about a month or so ago, one of my science teachers was in a serious car crash on the motorway. She had to get air ambulanced and she's in a hospital in Conventry still, so her family have to travel to see her. She's not well at all, she was in a coma for a couple of weeks. And then we got told the other week that the part of her brain she's damaged will affect her memory. But apparently photo's are helping her remember things. And it actually makes me physically sick when teachers say shes making progress, in that she's sitting up on her own. I know that's good, and it's slow progress, but shortly after her accident Richard Hammond had his. And he was going at like 300mph - nowhere near the speed she was. And yet when we hear that she can sit up on her own, I hear that he's at home now. Stuff like this really proves to me that everything happens for a reason.
Do you think so, or do you think that things just happen and that there's no real reasoning for them?

yeah I like that conspiracy (if thats the right word) it's like what I believe with cancer, cos you can't just catch cancer, I think that everyone is born with cancer in them, there's just something that they do in their life which triggers it off.

Well, if you find that time travel thread a bit back it will explain LOADS on all this. serious. it's worth watching.

Nah, I dont believe in fate, but I do in the butterfly effect. No, not the movie. Its the theory that one thing, no matter how simple, can cause something enormous. A butterfly flapping its wings in china causes a hurricane in mexico. Stuff like that.

I believe in multiuniverse

That there are infinate universes and the universes can differ in one atom in a differnt place or be way different. Everytime an atom is moved or any change occurs the universe splits. In one universe I stoped writing this comment and in another universe I kept writing it. It happens that I stayed in the universe where I kept writing it.

This is kind of confusing.

So I do believe in free will because you have the choice what path you want to take in life (for the most part) but there are other paths out there which you could take.

I dont know if anyone actualy understands cuz I didnt explain it well.

So I think it was random that she got in the accident. IMO in another universe she didnt get in the accident and is still teaching science class. But she when the universe split she stayed in this one.

But it was your choice to go to that place one day or that chatroom, so how's that fate?

I believe in the butterfly effect.
The smallest thing can make the biggest effect later on in life.

Whatever you do has consequences.

I don't think as deep as that. I just take every day as it comes. Things do happen for a reason though yes :]

i believe life is like an algorithm. it all depends on the choices you make, i believe the end results of the choices you make are planned out yes.
but you can choose your own future by the choices you make.

Meh, without freewill if everythings predetermined life becomes both meaningless and pointless. Lifes would just be boering without the choices "/ so id rather belive in freewill, makes life worth livin
