Splash and main page are absolutly fine in IE7. All I can see wrong is the poll, how the background is white? but maybe its IE7 not letting transparent backgrounds, I'm unsure. I don't know alot about IE7 anyway.

But yeah, both pages look fine.

Although may I recommend you remove the splash page...

Cannot see anything from the link above but on my apple mac using safari your main page looks ok
