Rule C18 will be changed so that it is less strict. Posting off topic will from now on be allowed, as long as a post has some relation to a previous post in the thread.
This means it is no longer necessary to stick to the subject of a thread, as long as the post has something to do with an earlier post in the thread.
It is still not allowed to reply to a thread with a post that is completely random, which means it has no relation at all to the subject of the thread or to any other posts in the thread.

yer. But you'll still have the odd mod who'll say thats nothing to do with the topic but it is in some way... ;)

Many people wanted this to change as a forum is for discussion...

Yeah people were enforcing it a bit too rigidly so they changed it. If a mod infractions you for something and it has to do with the topic, you can just report it to get it reversed.
Edit: Sounds like I'm taking credit for this, I'll just mention I had nothing to do with this brilliant decision though I agree with it it was someone else just so nobody thinks its me :p
