Seriously, people come on here to get away, and get treated like they're at school-I just got infractioned for calling someone a weed when he was spamming the forums
something needs to be done
I don't think it was because you made an attempt at insulting the member - it was because you avoided the filter.
Whether the word is filtered 'stupidly' in your opinion or not, it is still filtered and avoiding the filter will get you an infraction. :)

We are thinking of being less strict with some of the infractions, but we will always expect members to be polite and talk with respect to each other.
If we allow that members start calling each other fool, idiot, noob or anything else, it will get very unpleasant on the forum, and might also result in bullying, where a lot of members all go together against somebody else.
So no matter what somebody else does, please try to stay polite, or just ignore it, and use the Report post button to let a moderator deal with it.
tbh imo no m8

Well on the reverse side Ant, most of the mods do work very hard as you well know and everybody makes mistakes occasionally which is especially so if you are new. They did a great job yesterday when the forum was super spammed. :D

If the infraction was for avoiding the filter then how come the filtered word still has not been removed from Sam's first post in this thread. There are active moderators that moderate this forum and sierk and Catzsy have even posted in this thread. I think that the infraction is unfair and that the word should not be filtered at all.

Ironically it was reversed about 15 minutes before this thread was posted. :D
