canis canem edit (what the hell!?!)

why did they change the name bully to canis canem edit? its so pointless! i understand it gave the game bad press but they could have just changed the name to bullworth academy. canis canem edit is latin for dog eat dog, whats that got to do with the game!?! p.s the game is amazing!

They changed it because it wasn't politically correct. And in Britain these days, everything has to be politically correct.

Its well worth buying and i think if you sat all these idiots calling for it to be banned down and made them play it they would realise its far from what they think its about from reading about it in a newspaper.
I could relate to quite a lot of it from my school days but not sure if thats a good thing. :p

They called it Canis Canem Edit because of the huge amounts of anti-bullying stuff over here. It isn't as intense over in America so they could get away with calling it Bully but I doubt it would last for very long without being banned over here.

Also, "Canis Canem Edit" is the school motto, that's why they chose it as the title =]

I got it a few days ago - I'm about halfway in to the second chapter and really enjoying it :P
