Try The Roots. Theyre Hip-Hop, but not the commercialized stuff on the radio. Get the song Game Theory, it starts off kinda odd, but gets really good.

I highly, highly highly recomend the album LP2 by Sunny Day Real Estate. Its really self titled, but it's their second self titled to its called LP2. It has a pink cover.

Its really, really, really good emo. I just discovered it. It's amazing.
