i tried reloading homepage some times to see if habbo went on a maintance.

After refresing a bit it gave me

Could this be Habbo Home coming?

Why can't you allow like unlimited Habbos to watch it..
Let's try and put it into normal chat room terms to make it a bit easier.
50 users can enter the room called Welcome Lounge. They can chat and interact with other users. The more Habbos in one of these rooms, the general likelihood of lag is greater, because there are more computers and more information to send to and receive from.

Rather than simply increasing the room capacity (which will generally create more lag), why not allow X number of Habbos to "view only", via the Habbo Live option? They see what all the other Habbos in the room are seeing, but the are not interacting with the room, and thus there are less "demands" on the server for that particular room.

I don't know if that makes it easier to understand, or just complicates it, lol. Basically - increasing room capacity is a good idea, but the more Habbos you have in there, it's more likely that some users will suffer from lag, because there are more possible "interactions", and more data to be shared. Now if you allow some users to "view only", it reduces the amount of data transferred, and thus is les laggish than allowing someone to fully "interact" with the room.

I don't know how many people will be able to use Habbo Live... but due to it being less demanding than having a raised room capacity, I think we could expect at least the same limit as the room? So if the room had a capacity of 50, you could have 50 on Habbo Live? I don't know - I'm probably wrong - it might be twice the capacity of the room, to give people an incentive to get in the Habbo Live queue. So it could be 50 for room, and 100 for Habbo Live. OR (which is the most likely option), the Habbo Staff define manually how many Habbos will be able to use this feature as they turn it on. (So we won't know the limit until the feature is actually used for the first time.) Why is there a limit? Because (obviously), there is only a certain tolerance that can be had before you get lag.

No - It's been doing it for weeks and the homepage wasn't ready for Habbo Home (i don't think), so you can't be as sure as you make out there.

After N!ckG posted that thread with the external texts in it I had a look at them myself and found this;

I see you guys are having trouble with things like the Glass furni and decoding names of things like "Club Mammoth".

Most of the external stuff is from Habbo Canada and US.

Iced, Mode, Area, Romantique, Glass and whatever else I'm missing, now comes in like 8 colors each. It's ridiculous.

Habbo Canada's "Majestic" is called "Club Mammoth"

We got all the summer furni ur right about we got our extanles from somewhere else first the uk theres part(well was when i spent sometime with them) off other langaues as we didint(Do now) get the updates first, staff are to lazy to translate so they only do the bits they need.

Obviously, you see the Skull Guitar. These are fairly common on Canada, as well as a 2nd guitar, a V neck.

The guitar is a super on UK, but it's not on Canada as I have like 50 Skull Guitars and 30-something V-Neck guitars.

Very common on Canada.

I also own a retro, one of the most advanced retros as I have gotten the High Dive, Wobble Squabble, Snowstorm, Battleball or whatever it's called working and I have a full collection of public rooms, such as Easter Theatredome, Axe (Lynx for UK) Theatredome, etc.

I also have a massive catalog with a section for each type of furni. E.g. The mode section has red mode, green mode, blue mode, etc.

I constantly update the externals and I have fixed alot of "null" item descriptions and updated the names of things, like for the Dragons, I just named em all "Dragon" and put the color as the description. Makes it easier on the eyes.

As of now its still in BETA testing mode but as I've said, I've gotten everything working and it's just like the real habbo. I put in a command to give yourself more credits. /give cred <# of cred you want, max being 999>
