May i stress to you my feelings about the article posted.

I copied this poem into the poets corner on Habbo so everyone could see how good it was. It touched my heart when I read it and I wanted it to touch everyone else too. I know what it's like to have a family member in the war as my brother is a soldier (Coldstream Guard) and has had two postings to Iraq where he lost friends, he was lucky enough to come home.
I may have got a Throne for the poem, but may I also state that it doesn't say on the poets corner page the poem has to be original. I wanted to spread the poem as it was so touching.
This is my response to the article and if you still think I done it for the Throne well you can think what you want but you're wrong.

I don't think you did it for the throne... Although it would of been better if your wrote it yourself... You would have to be sick to write about the war for just a throne, something that doesn't have any significant value :rolleyes:

I dont think its the fact that you didnt write it that got to people, I think its the fact that you didnt put...say an acknowledgement to the original author and not just say "Posted By HereComesSte" rather than having it stated that you were the original author.

Your intentions may be correct but you stole a poem from the BBC. A copyrighted poem which Habbo could get into trouble for. The poems are meant to be original. I feel that you cheated, if you wanted to get the poem aknowledged why not post it on the Articles section on here or other forums?

This is pathetic, youre calling him a cheater which is kinda fine, since he did C+P but he just kinda APOLOGISED there when in fact the winning poem could've been ANYTHING, maybe it wouldnt be one of the poems which was on the runners up page, maybe something completely different! You dont know.. I say, if he's truly sorry then he'd give the throne to a damned moderator instead of giving it to some random bloke who probably got his dad to do it for him. :l

Thanks Pyroka, you understand how I'm feeling. Guys I have sent an email to the Habbo Help Tool rather than just give it away to someone I don't even know. If they take it off me then that's fine and I agree. If they don't they Habbo don't mind me C+Ping a poem.

Fact is, the article I posted is actually true, the poem in playjiarised because you never asked permission to send it in for a competition and, quite frankly, I'm surprised you haven't had legal action against you.

I acknowledge the fact that you have apologised and do respect you for it, however there will always be people who believe you were in this solely for the throne and will always attack you for it.

To be honest, the article I posted was not attacking you, but attacking the Habbo system that let a poem from one of the biggest british sites around, slip through then net to win the competition.
