i mean, is it even POSSIBLE for people to have a nice discussions in a thread without an argument arousing? no, not on this forum; at the moment anyway. there is basically an argument in practically every thread at the moment, i mean it is sometimes funny to watch one happen over the net, but a lot of them are getting out of hand, and rather pathetic. it seems to me some people just come on the net to **** others off, i really can't see why people get so worked up over nothing, and especially, over the internet.

anyway um, yeah. i felt like it needed to be said.

I agree, and I am one of the main culprits as such. The thing is I don't have anything against anyone on this forum really but I just like to argue and because I have an opinion I will argue my opinion against anyone elses' or anything like that. However I only argue on a forum - I'm not one of these betchy people on the forum who mock others on this forum;)
Plus also most good threads have arguments[ as in debates/about opinions not someone saying "i hate you etc"

Yeah. :]

oh yeah i like debates, &craig as i said this wasn't just aimed at you and helen. but sometimes when people debate in a thread it goes really off topic and stuff, like sometimes not even slightly, but a lot.

you can't really expect people not to argue, people argue in real life, so they're bound to argue online too.

There is no rule which says i cant reply to a post which someone has made aslong as its not rude obviously.

I know theres not a rule which says you cant argue or w.e but its not exactly needed. Im not saying dont as im not anyone to give orders or w.e but if you dont agree with a post, you dont just attack the person straight on. Well some do but...

Arguing is different as its trying to get that persons point across but not in a positive way or w.e

Im not in the mood to argue or w.e because im busy.

I think you'll find that will always be the case Ben; at the end of the day this is a forum, it's ment for people to cast their views; which will, obviously start disagreements as some people do "fully" abide by their beliefs upon things.

But yeah, it is anooying sometimes, especially with petty things ;l

There is a difference between "argueing" and discussing. It depends which way you look at it. If you are discussing something and have differing views then it may look to you as an arguement when really its not.

Arguments are fun, they allow me to show how good I am at pretty much everything, and I can usually make fun of someone at the same time which makes it even better.

i mean stupid arguments that arn't needed. like when people hate someone just because they done somthing THEY thought was right. now some of you will know what i'm on about.

In my opinion, I'd love a bit of arguing in a thread.

they're alright once in a while, but it gets annoying when you're reading a thread on a topic, and it has a page of posts, then you gotta flick through 5+ pages of people arguing.
