Entry Poem:

All the doffodils in their flowerbeds,
Resting their sleepy yellow heads,
Snow white bunnys hopping around,
Try to find all those Easter Eggs that cant be found!

My favourite time is Spring!

Spring-time is my favourite time of year,
I get happy and excited as it draws near,
The blissful sun shines up in the sky,
And all the birds fly around way up high.

My favourite time is Spring !

I scoff my egg,
And I have to beg...
..Because chocholate tastes so good,
And I want it all ! (Well I think I should !)

My favourite time is Spring !

Poem -
How have chicks and rabbits taken over
A holiday of mystical rebirth?
Perhaps the Lord has let them make it over,
Pleased with all the gentlefolk of Earth.
Youngsters needn't dream of agony:
Easter, for children, must wear more festive clothes;
And so the soft, defenseless babes they see
Symbolize Christ's love when He arose.
The Spring was always time for holidays.
Easter fun for tots no truth betrays:
Redemption is approached in many ways.

If You Look Carefully At The First Letters, It Says Happy Easter :)

Today I found a bunny,
As fluffy as can be,
He carried eggs of every hue,
Of red and gold, of green and blue,

Chocolate eggs and marshmallows,
And eggs of pink and grey,
He hops around on Easter Night,
Then hides the treats just out of sight,

On Easter morn, just after dawn,
The children all wake up,
They look up and down and all around,
Til' all the tasty eggs are found,

Now til' next year his job is done,
His eggs are eaten up,
He goes back to his workshop,
With a skip... a jump... and a HOP.

Hope you like it :)

Entry Poem:

Twas Easter morn at early dawn
just before the plants were growing.
I met a bob-tail bunnykin
and asked where he was going.
"Tis in the house and out the house
a-tispy, tipsy-toeing,
Tis round the house and 'bout the house
a-lighlty I am going."
"But what is that of every hue
you carry in your basket?"
"Tis eggs of gold and eggs of blue;
I wonder that you ask it.

"Tis chocolate eggs and bonbon eggs
and eggs of red and gray,
For every child in every house
on bonny Easter day."
He perked his ears and winked his eye
and twitched his little nose;
He shook his tail -- what tail he had --
and stood up on his toes.
"I must be gone before the sun;
the east is growing gray;
Tis almost time for bells to chime." --
So he hippety-hopped away.

Thank you for reading my poem I hope I am one of the winners...May the best poem win!! :eusa_clap

Name on habbo: :easter-bunny:

There's a story quite funny,
About a toy bunny,
And the wonderful things she can do;
Every bright Easter morning,
Without warning,
She colors eggs, red, green, or blue.

Some she covers with spots,
Some with quaint little dots,
And some with strange mixed colors, too
-- Red and green, blue and yellow,
But each unlike his fellow
Are eggs of every hue.

And it's odd, as folks say,
That on no other day
In all of the whole year through,
Does this wonderful bunny,
So busy and funny,
Color eggs of every hue.

If this story you doubt
She will soon find you out,
And what do you think she will do?
On the next Easter morning
She'll bring you without warning,
Those eggs of every hue. :eusa_clap

I saw a mysterious sight yesterday while walking,
It was so white, fluffy, and cute that I couldn't help but gawking.
The creature had a big basket full of colorful eggs,
And it was hopping around on only two legs.
This whimsical character hopped right up to me with its huge, flat feet,
And gave me a tasty chocolate treat!
I asked the furry little thing what the egg was for,
But the only answer I got was one more.
So with my two eggs I set out to find my answer,
I decided to ask the little girl dancer.
The little girl said that the creature was a bunny rabbit,
but THIS rabbit gave out treats to kids that didn't grab at it.
I was proud to recieve a gift better than any pearl,
So I gave one of my eggs to the young girl.
Now I know the Easter Bunny,
Who knew it would look so funny?! :eusa_danc

poem :
Habit is the hand that shapes the heart.
A soul becomes the soldier of its faith.
Peace prevails through courage and by art.
Pride is vanity, the preacher saith.
Yet love is sky to mountains and to seas.
Evil and good lie blissful in its arms.
All may find that joy with equal ease,
Sunlight radiant above life's storms.
The character is written on the face
Even as the soul receives its grace,
Restored to innocence and on its knees.

Having walked the tight-lipped Jersey streets,
A house to every inward-turning love,
Peaceful, neat, above all else secure,
Pausing, I am ravished by their beauty.
Years will tell the stories of these streets;
Each house, the joy of its secluded love,
As children come and go, indulged, secure,
Singed or not by life's most awesome beauty.
There is no quarter on these death-strewn streets,
Each house the scene of terror, pain, and love,
Redeemed alone by the passion of its beauty.

Here among the savages we amble
Apart from those not designated dear,
Pleased to watch and wonder as we ramble,
Playing with what else we'd have to fear.
Yes, we are aware of what our game is
Even as we hide behind our smiles,
Arrested in perceiving what our shame is
So long as custom clings and faith beguiles.
There's neither love nor joy but in a gamble
Each must lose before the stakes are clear,
Revealing what, unknown, the heart reviles.

Jesus was born on this near day,
We eat chocolate,
and feel all gay.
But not thinking about him, I think he would tut.
So its near easter, Remember him

The easter poem

The easter bunny, is really in jail,
When easter comes round, he gets let out on bail,
Cause he stole some eggs from a robin bird,
Cause the robin bird was a 'nerd',
All the animals spread the word,
It wasn't long before the police heard,
They caught the bunny, he was on drugs,
He hung out with a group of thugs,
The coppers and bunny made a deal,
He'd give out the eggs, that he did steal,
And thats why we have easter!

The Easter Bunny Sneaks Over at night,

Not to be seen by any light,

The adults away in the bath,

Or at the pub having a laugh.

The children wake up from their bed,

To find a hidden chocolate egg,

A golden wrapping covering it,

They start to Rip it bit by bit.

The egg has gone,

Went down in one,

Although the taste will last,

Untill the day has passed

Spring is here,
That means loads of choccy eggs,
Get up get dressed,
Get out of bed!

Eating and eating all day long,
singing and sining the easter song,
Chocolate here and caramel there,
Im not going anywhere!

I love chocolate,
And it loves me,
Without chocolate,
I wouldnt be me!

Im looking for eggs!
im going and going!
hope you enjoyed my easter poem!

Oh easter is coming,
The bunny's ears have sunk.
To fill everyone's stomachs,
With all sorts of junk.

Callie is happy,
Mad as she may be.
But who gives a damn,
That egg aint just for me.

Spring is just so great,
You eat, drink and create.
What on earth can you do,
Without an egg upon your plate.

Twas the day before Easter and all through the woods,
The bunnies were busy getting their goods.
The eggs were all colored so pretty and bright,
All things were "go" for the big, special night.

The baskets were waiting, all decorated with care,
In hopes that the Bunny soon would be there.
My little brother Sam was asleep in his bed,
While visions of Easter eggs rolled round his head.

And I in my pajamas with the cat on my lap,
I had just settled down for a quick little nap.
When outside the window I heard a great noise,
I sprang from my chair and jumped over some toys.

As quick as a flash to the window I flew,
I pulled up the shade and , OH, what a view.
The moon on the meadow cast a bright golden glow
And the wind blew the flowers to and then fro.

Then all of a sudden from out of nowhere,
Came some lively bunnies, hopping here, hopping there!
Leading the group with ears long and funny
Was a plump all-white rabbit...
That's right...the EASTER BUNNY!

The bunnies hopped past, one, two , three, four,
The rabbit called out and then there were more.
"Come Peter! Come, Flopsy! Come, Benny! Come, Joe!
Now hop along! Hop along! Hop along! GO!"

So up on each doorstep the bunnies did hop,
With baskets of eggs. (Let's hope they don't drop)!
Just at that moment, on the porch down below,
Came the stomping of feet 'Twas the rabbit I know!

As I stepped from my window I heard a loud sound.
Through the door came the rabbit with a leap and a bound.
He was furry and soft from his head to his feet.
To see him so close was really quite neat.

He was surrounded by eggs that had been carefully dyed.
Easter eggs galore he soon would hide.
His eyes were all twinkles, His nose was so pink,
And I can't be too sure but I think he did wink.

He had a kind face and a big fluffy tail
That bobbed up and down like a boat with a sail.
A twitch of his nose and a flick of his ear
Was his way of saying "You've nothing to fear"

He uttered no sound as he hopped all about,
Hiding the eggs and leaving no doubt,
That the Easter Bunny had come like he does every year...
Bringing baskets of happiness to children so dear

*My easter poem is called - The greedy Bunny * :D
Poem :
The Greedy Bunny!

The little bunny is sick,
He thinks he has the flu.
He can't get out of bed,
And there's still so much to do!
He's going to need some helpers,
But he's not sure just who,
Could you help the little bunny?
Would you know what to do... Like...
Doing all your schoolwork,
Wriggling you ears and nose,
Eating all your carrots,
And hopping on your toes?
The little bunny is better,
He didn't have the flu.
He just ate too many jelly beans,
And chocolate bunnies, too!
