I picked up HTML from freewebs, then myspace, looking at the coding of other sites and messing with it & now owning an official fansite (:

So, how did you learn PHP? I learn!! :D:D

well i made a game with just html codes and then i tried php and made a good site
its on freewebs tho

Err Panther normally a PHP Techie needs to be fluent/skilled in php. I have noticed u have been asking for radio panels recently...


Anyway, i learnt from w3schools then my mate just helped me build on it and now i can do it fluently.

When u learn the basics its SOOO SIMPLE

I never used to understand where the { and } went lol

And i used to make a common error

Looking at other peoples work and studying it
Reading the PHP manual
Reading PHP & MySQL for dummies (2nd edition)

I only use the PHP manual now.

I learnt just by modifying others' scripts, and reading. When I wanted to know what a function was, I'd refer to the manual (php.net), or ask for help.

A lot of skilled php coders still refer to the manual for functions from time to time though.
