Well, it'll cost anything from over £1200, partly because shes a new driver, like myself, the price is rediculous but it needs to be paid.

Yes, 17 year olds insuring a car is not cheap, *very soon to be one* The smaller the engine the better, I don't need to worry, my mums going to insure me to drive her Golf GTI :P erm, Try post office insurance, or elephant.co.uk

If you get one under 1500 quid you'll be getting an alright quote. Hope she finds one. :)
