The PS3's claim to fame is it's Cell processor, which provides for more floating point streaming, and it's raw power, meaning not only will it be potentially great, but it's proved to be useless when rendering graphics. The only other advantage I can think of is brand loyalty, which has proved that Sony fanboys are far more loyal to overrated products than any other group. So in the end the Playstation will probably win, not because of technical superiority, but because of fanboys who can't get off the bandwagon.
