Nice clean design Oli but you see that red bar under banner maybe spice that up abit maybe just add scanlines with a 15% opacity

1) scanlines will ruin it, sorry. (scanlines would not fit here)
2) banner are just images i ''had'' to use.

and i messed up with the blur between the images i know, im fixing right now.

Try using the opacity trick with the two images.

Use white-trans gradients going into each other and meeting at the middle.

That'd look better ;)

Verdana and size use 11 or 12 and bold or not bold.
