Checkerboard laces

K, I don't mean laces for checkerboard vans or them printed checkerboard laces, I mean the proper way of doing it. Here is an example on my Quiksilver shoes: [sorry it's a bit poor quality and the laces have kinda gone messed up]

You use one colour lace normally, then weave another colour around the laces to give a checkerboard effect. Anyone like it or use it themselves? :]

I wanted black and white fat laces for my DCs but they didn't have so I just got normal black fat laces.
