Hey,

I'm looking for a service, where users can text a number they provide. And the text to be charged at standard rate. 50p max.

I don't want that... green light thing (glpay). As it charges. Is it possible?

Eg. Text us! Just text [number]. Then it goes to a webpage, the text and you can access the texts. :]

Ty,
Nick.

I'm not looking for a certain website, just any service that does what I stated in my first post. GLPay charge the users.

Ok.

Straight forward:
I want a SMS service, so members of the public can text whatever number, and it then appears on a webpage. I would preferably wish that the user does not need to pay, although, if this isn't possible, a maximum of 50p.

Example, for a online radio station, people can text in, it is then place up onto the service's website and the DJ can read it out.

Thanks,
Nick :)

No, so they can text via their MOBILE. Not a webpage. I know how to make a request form.

Have you ever heard Radio 1, they say "Text us on [number]" Then you text them and sometimes they read your text out on air? I want something like that :)

Um, no one said anything about texting from a webpage.

So Overall you want people to read a number of a site and text that number with a message that will appear on the site. ?

_______________

No, not so it appears on my site, so the DJ can login to the service's website and see them all via that services control panel. It's quite simple. I only want user to be charged at standard rate. And I don't want to be charged anything.

IF you bothered to read it correctly it offers the idea of a submitform repalcing the whole sms idea... like sane people

your idea is pointless and honestly the dumbest idea i've ever seen

How is it... I have a submit form already, but I would wish for a SMS option also.

So

They read or hear on the site they already have loaded

'text 0707070707' with your message. and we will read it out / it will be displayed on our site..

(which btw is always going to cost the user something and most probebly you!)

or they can just simply use the standard type message submit..

dumb idea.

Kanker.
20-11-2006, 07:29 PM
so why do habbox use it if its a dumb idea.?

They have a SMS system.

Well, if they were listening via Winamp, or any other external media player it would be quite handy. But forget it then, I'll find it myself. Thread Closed.
