As long as you like her and she likes you, it doesnt matter. Popularity seems like a key role in schools nowadays. Popular people only go out with eachover and same for unpopular.

Well i say go for it, if your mates say anything then ask them what their actual problem is with her, if it was because in their eyes she went 'a bit wierd' then they need to grow up a bit, teenage years are full of changes to the body and otherwise, and we all may go a 'bit wierd' during our teen years .... unfortunately some of us stay that way :p lmao.

A lot of the time people are simply "hated" because on person does. You'll probably find that actually one or two people really do actually hate her, but their friends therefore think it would be uncool to like her so don't give her a chance, then their friends do the same and it continues until the girl is basically isolated and everyone "hates her".

I'm talking from experience here, as there are a few people in my school that have had the same happen to them. However, I make it a point to befriend these sort of people. I'm not what you would call unpopular, as I get on really well with everyone, have a huge group of great friends and an excellent social life. I think people respect the fact that I do have such a diverse bunch of friends and am willing to get to know people from all aspects of life, despite the fact what other people think.

Dude, it's simple! If you like this girl and she likes you, then whats to stop you? I bet you'll find half the people who dislike her havn't even given her a chance and got to know her before. I say you should just go for it, and if you get any grief etc. just tell them you don't care because your happy. It's your life and it's nothing to do with them - and if your constantly going to be worried about what other people think of your decisions all your life, then trust me - it isn't going to be a very good one! Also, if their your true friends they should respect your decision and not try and put you down.

You never know, by getting with her you might actually be able to introduce her to your own friends and she could meet some new people through it all and show everyone shes not just a "weirdo". :)

You know what you wan't to do mate, so don't let other people ruin a good decision and chance for you.
