Well if you don't know about anything to do with making a site then don't waste your time. Get a job on another site for XP, and then when you know what you need to know make it.

I wouldn't recommend starting a fan-site without prior knowledge, but 'meh.

I would probably do something original on your site, like an auction site. A bit like a stock exchange.

And what did you do with the £80? kindling? If thats just for running a fansite someone along the line is ripping you off majorly.

o.0 you managed to get ripped off in both domain and hosting, impressive, most people only get ripped off on one...
Seriosly, especaly if your paying £2 shoutcast, which uses a MASSIVE amount more bandwidth than the average webserver, and you then pay £5 a month for next to nothing? did you not even consider maybe you aint got a good deal going? Plus .com 's can be obtained by a good provider from around £9's "/ 1&1 have repulation for being overprised that nearly rivals dells or aols... ok maybe not quite aol, but dell at least.

Hosting, for a begginer like you, about £2.50 per month, £30?
Domain: or use ezereards.com for a free domain, .co.uk: £5
SHOUTCast [ONLY if you need] £1-3 per month...
total: £40-55?
template = maybe you can use a free one? or get a freind to make one?
Thats no where near £80-90... Why on earth would you spend so much on a habbo production, when you GAIN NOTHING in reality?

Thybag hosts for £22 a year, if i only wanted say 1gb space, 10 gb bandwidth, id be talking below a £10er..co.uk? 2.50 a year, (brought in 2 year installments, so £5.. but that is 2 years)
Shoutcast, £1-3
So you could probably do it for £15 a year.. or if you know people, as lottle as £2.50 a year, as our some of my friends sites costs.

A vBulletin license costs $150+, so if you want a forum like this, prepare to pay some big bucks. As I understand, Habbox is hosted on LayeredTech dedicated servers - at least $80 a month.

Like I said, my site has cost me £2.50 and it's all done - just needs uploading.
Domain, hosting, the lot.
If you get charged over £30 for an amatuer site then you're being ripped off.

If you wish to learn html [because you do need to] then I suggest taking online courses:
www.w3schools.com
www.htmlgoodies.com
www.funkychickens.com
w3 schools is the courses and the rest is where you can pick bits of code up from to learn :)
