Well, in elementry school, I was popular. Me and my gang of 5 friends were the "popular ones" and the teachers came up to us when we went to highschool and asked if we owned the school yet and we started laughing.

Anyway, in highschool, I have like one good friend, and then like everyone in our grade is basically my friend, not a good friend, but I know them.. The popular kids are **** though, pretending to give eachother BJs and ****. Its discusting.

I was, for like two days, then they just blanked me.

But, i had the same friends from yr 7 to yr 11, and they were better then any of the popular kids to be honest, great laughs and everything, and there was a big gang of like, about 15 of us for yr 8/9. So, it honestly was better then being popular, because you had a massive gang of friends.

But, most of the popular kids knew me, and sometimes said hi, mainly because they always used my texts or asked for like 20p.

I'm best friends with like 3/4's of the year haha. There isn't one person who I don't know and havn't had a converstion with (I like a wee chat, hehe ;)).

I'm currently located in portugal and here the school is mixed nationalities as its international. Theres an international side (which im in) and a national side. I'm popular with a majority of the kids though ...

Mainly due to me being known as "the only international kid who can play football" LOL And also probably due to the fact i'm currently training with Benfica ...

yeah, at our school we don't have an emo group, but we have the "goths" who pretty much everyne avoids.
and the ones in the chavvy labels are usually the more popular ones.

when i got to college, i wasnt really popular throughout the college, but i was in my class, i got on with everyone and i was always chattin to everyone etc, on my report from college, i remember one of the lectureres (sp?) comments sayin sumthin along the lines of "craig is very popular with the girls in class, and i think this distracts him from his work. but he is very capable of doing the work". kinda made me feel good. lol

now though, after finishing college, all i seem to do is work and sleep, i dont really get to see anyone anymore.

I've spoken to everyone in my year at one stage and they all know me by my name/nickname. I seem to get along with everyone really, I mean no stereotyped group seems to dislike me/not know me for any reason. I can hang around with the "chavs" whenever I want, but equally I can hang with the "moshers/goths" if I want. I usually hang around with a group of 10+ mates who are a mixture of the stereotypes, mainly being chavs though. I just think I seem to get on with everyone because I'll give everyone a chance, doesn't matter what clothes they wear/what music they like and I'll probably end up being a friend of theirs. I also know alot of kids from younger years[cos of my brother] and from years above, mainly through socialising and stuff so yeah I'd consider myself popular.

In ym school in each year there is like the 'rugby crowd' where everyone on the rugby team kinda hangs and that turns into the popular crownd. So seeing as im captain i'd guess im quite popular.
