View Full Version : iFrame Color Coding Help

ON my website

the boxes in which I have another page going into them. [ iframes ] are the same color as the background... when they're supposed to be white..

I asked a friend what he seenand he said they were white... maybe its just my computer from doing the editing on?

Hey Jaysir,

I see you're using my template :).

The iframe colour was originally white when transfered to you.

Although this is a common error - go into the iframe html file and change

<body>
to

<body color="#000000">

Then it should be fine.

Nope that didn't work ._.

because whenever i go back into it to see it... it goes back to


<body>

it doesn't stay


<body color="#000000">

Hey Jaysir,

The code you currently have on your website is still the original body tag. If you change this tag to the one I showed you, it will work.

Yeah, because you havnt defined a background colour for the file. It automatically chooses the main page's background.

Just add <body bgcolor="#FFFFFF"> to fix it like Netik said

But.... everytime i change it.. it changes back

Hey Jaysir,

Make sure you save the file ;).

It won't change back unless you change it yourself.

I do save it?


Look this is what i'm doing:

I change the


<body>

to


<body color="#000000">

and then i save it.

then i go back to it and the code is changed back to


<body>

Alright i got it working. I had to use Invent's code though because your's didn't work :S thanks for the help guys :) +Rep

Hey Jaysir,

Invent's code is the same as the one I posted - just with a different hex code which wouldn't make any difference to the outcome.
