Exactly lol. Once this guy was selling me my template back after he coded it.
The dude encrypted it and i managed to unecrypt it. Put it on my site. But then i decided to pay him anyway becaue im honest lol

But I doubt Adam copyrighted it properly, so no, not sued. Copyrighting something doesn't involve "Copyright © person year", or whatever format they use.

Actually yes it is :)

Under UK copyright protection laws anything that can be claimed as copyright ,eg. a template, is copyrighted to the author and using the "Copyright © person year" is just a way of displaying the copyright :)

Also copyright is free but you may be thinking of "patenting".

The images and the trademark are copyright to the Sulake organisation.

But he's not affiliated with them. So he has to put all Images are propert of Sulake Ltd.

Yes, however he is not reselling the images constructed by Sulake, he is using the images to distinguish to the client the theme and purpose of the design.

Thus not a breech of the copyright therefore a affiliation with Sulake is not required for the distribution of such item.

It's not free. Even if you do do that....... Still you can be sued. I'm selling it fully copyrighted & fully coded =/ You don't have to deal with anything. Plus if you ever want to have a successful fansite.. you DONT steal a layout -.-
