I'm not sure if this has been posted yet but anywhoo...

How long have we all been waiting for Microsoft to increase the limit of contacts MSN Messenger can hold per address? Many months at least, years for some of us.

Well, finally our wish is their command - they have increased the limit to double what it was previously. You will not need to install any newer versions of MSN Messenger for this change to take place - you should be able to add more people immediately.

We can now have 300 contacts on your MSN Messenger List w00tness :D

I've also been looking out for what Microsoft have also been doing and that is they blocked a whole load of extensions which are:

There are probly a lot more but I havn't found any more as of yet. I will add new ones soon as I find out :)
The best thing is that if you even try and send a file with one of these extensions, your contact will recieve this message:

{your email address} tried to send you a file ({file type}.extension). This file has been blocked because it is potentially unsafe. So we must all praise Microsoft for keeping us even more safe than before :D Goooooooo Microsoft

Oooo thats good and I bet all the blocked extensions is to stop those viruses spreading.

Yeh too bad compressed files like .ZIP and .RAR are not deep scanned

Yes true but if you think about it you can easily use another service such as gmail, yahoo mail ect. to send homework. Microsoft want to keep their users safe from infections ect. My own personal opinion is that they are doing a very good job.

I used to have 200 ish with addons, but then realised hardly anyone came on MSN, so I took a week to delete everyone who never came on. Now I have 60/70 people on MSN at 'prime time' (11pm)

What you got 150 contacts?
If so I gather that Microsoft updated but for some users it may take a little longer to work than others. But that is just my thought on what I mean. Hopefuly it'll be fixed for you very soon :)

Plus the increase to 300 contcat limit doesnt help, i have 432 on my main account (If Im2 could finaly fix the avitar bug it woulnt be so annoying)

Mentor I am the one who sent the information to a friend who actualy is good friends with zero1 thats how it's on there.

I have also asked zero1 if it was ok to publish that and he has granted me permission.
The things I wrote where all by me. The file types where writen by mess.be the other information i found out with the help of zero1 (non habbo user).

I've just gone through and deleted a lot of contacts, hardly spoke to any of them. In fact thinking about it I don't really like hotmail. :S
