I use an amazing thing named a TELEPHONE. It can call people and actually sends them your voice so you don't just have to go 'M3RRY CRIMB0Z'
Call somebody, save Christmas :)

Not usually, as it's kind of ignorant, especially when your family is round, and you're just sitting there typing on a forum or playing a game. If I want to go on the PC, I usually go on christmas night, but only to wish people merry christmas etc.
Not as much, after dinner sometimes, if im not out with friends, sometime during the night/early boxing day, depends really.
:alexxTURNER
28-11-2006, 06:11 PM
I ring people
or text people to wish them a merry
christmas. I'm too busy to go on the
computer tbh.
Hmm I do go on sometimes if have some computer stuff to install etc. but normally just sit with my family all day tbh no1 is ever on lol

Nick.
28-11-2006, 06:26 PM
Well I'm getting an iPod this year, so I will come on for a few minutes in the morning just to let all my itunes songs upload onto it. I already have an ipod, so it won't take me too long. (Changing song format etc.)
Urm, and sometimes I go to my Grandmas with my mum. Some yars my uncle and aunty will come, they get me loads. So I spend most the day at my Grandmas! [:

yeah same here.
I did that last year.. not on Habbox tho lol.
I just think coming on the computer (internet), especially on a forum or w/e is a total mood killer for me! Unless you don't celebrate Christmas of course, then it's like every other day.

I did last year when my family started talking about boring things and I also got a few games that my cousin wanted me to play.

28-11-2006, 08:19 PM
Well I did last year just to wish everyone a merry xmas for like 10 minutes, although this year I might not even bother. I'll probs come on for a bit on Xmas Eve and say it all and then just text mates wishing them a happy day etc, cos to be honest anyone that comes on the computer for ages is sad. Christmas is a time of giving and receiving and celebrating family, so you should spend your time with family, because I expect alot of people don't get to - especially children in Children's homes. So take the advantage of spending time with your family and don't be selfish and not take up the opportunity because millions of children/family would love to spend time with family. And Christmas is often a time of seeing relatives you don't see often, which I definately want to do. And ofcourse I might go and see some friends.

I go on, on christmas eve, and some through christmas day cos loads of family come round, and we all open our presents at night, so theres like nothing to do during the day, except play with my stocking presents, and they're usually crap tbh, so I just go on the pc til like 5:30? or 6? or something.
all my family come round at like 6:30 or 7, then I just spend time with them =]

Well, i usually pop on after opening presents for like half an hour, to have a chat with people who are on to see what they got, and do anything computer related, like put CD's onto my iTunes or update my iPod.
And, then after everyones gone, and we're all knacked, i come on again, to do other computer related stuff and because there is really jack to do on christmas, as i rarely get anything i can do on it.
EDIT; At the people who say it sad & pathetic to come on at christmas, maybe someone people just don't celebrate it as much as you do, and don't have anything to do, so they come on to the computer for a bit.

There is no general stereotyping with the Christmas period, Christmas is an event of celebration with family and friends.
With the security of life today, you may find it may be your last.

Lol not at all. Christmas is a time for spending with the people you love - and unless you really are a sad individual and have emotional feelings of love for your PC - then I don't think you should be spending your day wasted on here! xD

i'm just generally going to be on, be even easyier this year. tis my first year with a laptop

No. I find that kinda sad (no offense to members who do). My mum wanted me to do something on the PC a few years ago on Christmas day though, so I decided to look how many people where on Habbo. Over 1000 people where on. I mean coming on the computer on Christmas day I think is quite sad but spending Christmas day on Habbo Hotel. I think going on just to wish people merry Christmas is alright or installing something etc something like that is ok. But not most of Christmas day on Habbo or something like that..

Yeah, I do, in the evening.
I usually get things that are computer related, and my family pretty much dislike me, so I don't tend to spend time with them, especially not a whole day i'd go insane.
We open our presents at 9ish, then theres like a 4 hour gap before my nan and grandad come, where my dads tyding the house, my mums cooking and setting up stuff, and me and my brothers just watch tv together, or films.
I might come on the forum if i was majorly bored but i really doubt it. I'll watch dvds that i get, and probs go on the habbo homepage to see how many odd-bods actually signed in. :s
