I hate post counts, it just gives people motive to call me a spammer
i have never done a * whoopie my 100th post * thing ever neither spammed the new posts and the sub forums aswell ;)

I dont care much about them, but you cant remove them as they give an excuse for the rating system e.g. newb, Habbo Elite etc.
I do believe I have gained a post after this

Totally pointless really, same as rep. People who are like "Yay my 1000th post" or whatever are annoying. If they make a sensible post that actually has meaning, and then put
"On a side note - woo my 1000th post"
I can live with it.
post counts show how dedicated you are to a board so personally yes i do care about my post count.

It only comes in handy when theres an annoying person calling us all forum noobs. But other than that I couldn't give a damn.

How does it show how dedicated you are?
Dedication is not having a high post count. If you think it is then something is wrong, very wrong.
It does show dedication, it shows how prepaired youa re to write things to habbox or any other site

So someone who goes ont he forum alot, but doesnt post alot is not dedicated, it's not the post count but the work they do for a forum or how they act shows their dedication

First when I joined I did care but I realised it doesn't really matter which rank you are or how many posts you got. It's all about helping people and having fun. On other forums it's really hard when you're newb they all start calling you ''oh look it's another noob'' and stuff but this forum is pretty friendly I must say.

Number of Posts means nothing to me really. I comment on what i want to comment on.. Im not gonna go around replying to more threads just to raise it to show im dedicated.. if im dedicated ill know that enough myself and not need to prove it through having a high post count.

iL TELL UR MOMMY UR TELLING TAILS !
Totally pointless really, same as rep. People who are like "Yay my 1000th post" or whatever are annoying. If they make a sensible post that actually has meaning, and then put
"On a side note - woo my 1000th post"
I can live with it.
I made an entire thread about my 1000th post.
That was a bit silly.
Though I agree with James. And you just get more respect if you have more post here. It shows you are around alot, new people always ask questions to members with alot of post.
I like the fact I have more then 1000th post.
I like to be here, and it's cool that other people can see that.
But, I don't care so much about it that I spam to get alot, that is stupid.

Lol, I find those that boast about the number of posts they have made quite funny. I don't think it's important how many posts you've made, I really believe in quality posting and not quantity. I rarely post, purely because if it's already been said, then I have nothing to contribute. I also cannot see how anyone can believe that because they have a high number of posts, that they become more dedicated to the forum than anyone else. The majority of my posts are about competitions, in fact probably 350-360 of them are. Does that make me less dedicated?
My attention is always drawn to looking at threads/posts with interesting titles, and more often than not members names that don't appear as regular posters every day ;)

Disagree there, if you made 500 "I'm cool" posts, is that better then 25 longer more informative posts?
Quality over quantity.
I cared, until I became a mod, and realized it's stupid to post just for sake of posting (Although I never spammed)

So people that post alot are ????
People with alot of time on there hands?
People who want to try and prove there more dedicated than others?
People who jsut like posting..
To be honest, I think a person with 1 post can be as dedicated as someone with a 1000. Some people on this thread proberly have more than alot of habbox staff.. But who would you say was more dedicated in that scenario?

I don't really care, sometimes i do look at it too see how many posts i've got, but i don't care, i just think 'oh thats cool' and then get on with what i was doing, i don't go 'OMG I NEED TO POST MORE!!!'

I don't really notice them much, and I only reply to threads I find interesting or that I have something to say about instead of just posting on every single thread I read like some people!

True, i personly think think making post just to get a high number seems boring.. like on small forum wehre the admin will goiev himslef 1000000 post or somthing.
But as long as its posting not spam i agree theres no problem with it, high posting members are needed for a sussseful forum :D
I just enjoy typing and posting, its relaxing for me.

I dont think theres naything wrong with looking at your post count and seeing you have alot, or ore one of forums hights posters etc. I think any problem with it comes when the post count actaly becomes the reason to post, insted of actaly aksing or answring a question or spreading a opion etc "/
