Can I have a avatar of my ex? Not like anyone can stalk her.... you dont know anything about her. If I ask her permission. Probably wont use it, just wondering.

If she is hot = Yes.
If she is ugly = No.
I'd say she is, we all have different opinions though.... like this guy I know's girlfriend looks like a total man.

Quite ironic how you can post a link to your pictures/Myspaces/Live Spaces and so on but can't host a picture of yourself or someone who doesn't use this forum.
Kinda' makes you think.

But under the new rule it states that the person is responsible for their actions upon post their links to the sites, therefore, should be their responsibility for any pictures of themselves that they post as an avatar or in a signature picture.
It makes sense, really.

The forum rules currently state that personal details should not be on the forum itself but can be linked externally. This means you cannot put your own pictures or a friends picture etc on your avatar or profile picture.

I don't see why it should be a problem. It is but I dont see why.
It's like "OMG SOMEONES SEEN MY PICTURE THERE GONNA MYSTERIESLY (SP?) FIND OUT MY ADDRESS AND TRACK ME DOWN!"
No, they could like scan the picture into a big computer and look for a match, and when it finds the match it'll tell all of their details!

yeh but lets say Gemmaz56 puts my picture in her sig or something and I don't want it there ? Changing the rules will just cause lots of problems and bother
You can always PM someone, and tell them that she didn't have you permission, and you want it removed.

Suppose but just by giving a loctaion (aka manchester) and a first name they could do that.
But I don't give a location.

I didn't say you did, but there's a location box in the profile, so obviously people are allowed too.
