Hii, I have a new xbox 360, I have deleted everything from it, apart from saved profiles from games and my xbox live stuff and i have another 5mb of themes, but by hard drive is only showing up as 13.8 gb left :s

I know for sure i'm not using more than 3gb up, is there anyway to check this? ty

There are some files and stuff which take up some space on the harddrive which can't be deleted i've heard.

I doubt you will be using it up quickly.

Mine came with 11gb with no files deleted. And my friend had 12 without any deleted. I think it's random, not sure really.

On the majority of 360 harddrives there is around 8GB which is hidden. This is used for gamesaves and system data and so on.

there is a code (press buttons) which will allows your 360 to do a defrag that should free up some space.

just search xbox360 defrag on google and it will come up
