Ok, say a girl is going out with a boy. She kisses another boy on the cheek(birthday present or something as the boy really likes her), could it be classified as cheating?
I was thinking about this and I'm not quite sure, is it?

No... its not cheating... if that counted as cheating there wouldn't be one steady relationship..

Are you speaking hypotechially (sp?) or are you in that kind of situation?

It's not cheating although if your partner is the sort that gets jealous easily it's not advised.

I'm in that sort of situation, well, I was. I was thinking about that but then I thought It's not really the same :D


It's not cheating although if your partner is the sort that gets jealous easily it's not advised.

Her partner doesn't like me, much :D
He caused our friendship to break up momentarly till she came to me saying she wanted our friendship to go back to the way it was. He's tried numerous times to break up friendships with people or spread lies about me. :P

In my opinion - no. However, this can vary in different people as different people class different things as "cheating".

Personally, I've kissed and had several girls kiss me (just a peck, lol) whilst I'm in a serious relationship with my current girlfriend. I understand the fact that Maria could quite rightly get jealous if it's simply random, which it has been the case a couple of times (not my fault lol), but if it's something like a birthday I think she'd understand.

If I saw Maria kiss another guy though I would be raging no matter what the circumstances, lol. I think thats just a guy thing though, but at the end of the day I trust her and know I love her and she feels the same, so it doesn't really matter. :)

a peck on the cheek is not cheating its understood that your partner could get jelous but in my opinion its not classed as cheating

Ooft, another insight.

Kissing on the cheek isn't cheating, if they kiss the guy/girl on the lips, then that's cheating.
In a sort of way.
Depending on the way that you and your partner agree on how things will go.

Once I was seeing this girl who kisses all her close-ish guy mates on the lips, I couldn't deal with that, so I just told her.
That was it.
It hurt, but I'm not used to that stuff.

Talk about it with her! =]

Anything more, you might have a problem..

Don't know if it's the same in your school, but at mine all the girls do it to most of the boys, it's called being friendly

If my girlfriend kissed a boy on the cheek and he really liked (as in fancied) her I would be annoyed. If he didn't fancy her I wouldn't care.

She shouldn't kiss him on the cheek if she knows he fancies her because
1. He might take it the wrong way (Guys always take things like that the wrong way if they fancy the person)
2. Her boyfriend might think "Why is she doing that if he fancies her maybe she fancies him too"
