As i said in the thread i posted Habbox is built up on friends, you have to be friends with people in high positions to get jobs in high positions.

When i was made super moderator i had only been a moderator for less than a month and Neversoft was next inline to become super mod but because i was friends with seacat/jack/baving they made me it.

- MAD = Seacats best mate
- Ostinato = A4AOwents good mate
- Baving = Jackhbs/seacats best mate
- Eckuii = seacats brother :rolleyes:

Seriously? And that was in may, right? I was still a moderator for 4 more months after that and they still didn't ask me. Man, that is so unfair. I worked my *** off for 9 months as a moderator and didn't get diddly squat. No wonder why I got fed up and quit.

The only reason I can think of it being built up on friendship is because the person hiring may trust that person they're hiring?

Not saying that's the correct way to hire people.

And MAD did earn his stripes, I can remember his first day of moderating.. he basically told me everytime he warned someone :p He was very determined to do a good job in that area, and it paid off for him.

Obviously, their has been many decisions I haven't agreed with in the past, as Paul said, when he became an smod, I was totally puzzled as to why, but it did make sense after a while, and he proved himself as a super moderator anyway.

For those not old enough to remember, i was Web design manager, although that was back at the time when the web design team was composed of individuals actually capable of creating websites.

I must agree that I was quite surprised by you getting banned but I can't discuss it and whatnot.

And not every single person sucks up. I can give you two examples. Myself and Dan. Dan was one of the longest serving moderators and had enormous mod logs but no connections for the longest time and he finally got what he deserved.
