It looks very good, can't see any mistakes with the naked eye.
The horse looks beautiful, I have seen many attempts on making a habbo-style horse and this is the best I've seen so far.
Everything just looks amazing.

Jay, just go away. Just because you can't make anything that's good, then don't annoy people that can make something good!

Back to the alt:
I think it's really great! :P.. the only error ican sse, is that the horse is'nt tied up or anything? :).. btw, then maybe make a fence around the road, and make the road a little darker then the grass. If you fix these things, then i would nominate it for the elites ;P

Wicked. Simply wicked. When I started out alterations you were one of my inspirations along with Cptn. Kewl, Exavior and other alteration artists on the Habbox alt pages. You lot gave me something to aspire to.

My only problem would be the road looks plain? Maybe add tumbleweed?

Lol this is cool. I love the two gunfighters, only problem I have with them is the gun the gunfighter facing us is holding looks more like a modern day pistol than an old revolver.
As for everything else.. lose the black lines, add more detail to the ground, I highly doubt a wild west scene would be 100% yellow grass, with no dirt showing at all, and the grass looks very flat in places.
Add some detail to the wood on the cabins (at the moment it looks like plastic). A reference that may help you a bit with the wood -
http://www.pixeljoint.com/files/icons/full/tree_scene_for_isocity.gif Detail the donkey (or horses?) coat.
The rocks could use a bit more shading to make them look more 3d, maybe dither them?
The trough could use mroe detail aswell, if it's metal add shine. The water should be slightly transparent and show the bottom of the trough.
I'll add more later but I've gotta go now..

I agree with the comment about the gun and the rock but I think everything else (Black lines, water texture, simplicity of surfaces) etc. are what makes it habboy and suited to habbo hotel.

I'm not sure about the surface being grass - I'm thinking it'd be traditional old sandy earth as seen in all those western cartoons.

I think the shading is too dark on some areas.

*Shrug* Just my criticisms. Whether he chooses to edit in conjunction with them or not is his decision, but I think you'll find even habbo is a little more elaborate in their surfaces. Whilst habbo wood does not carry a well-defined grain, it still does have a grain, however simple, unlike his (See the lodge set, and some of the HC furniture). Same goes for the water and the trough. Habbo metal has shine, however simple (See the mode set, I also think there are more pieces with shine, but haven't played in a long time so I'm not sure). Habbo water is detailed in different ways (See the tubmaster and bath). The horse/donkey could also be detailed more, and still be "habboish" (See Habbo Pets). As for the black lines, habbo furniture rarely has black lines on protruding edges, yet he does. As for the surface being totally grass, I do agree that some of it should be grass, but there should also be massive patches of dirt. The grass should be very thin.

Who me? Get over yourself, I read exactly what you said I just decided not to post. If you really care then I think your comments are too meticulous and it's nothing I didn't already know myself.
Also, address is spelt with 2 d's.

Your kidding right? I gave you good, fairly in depth criticism, which most would appreciate, and you ignore it, then insult me when I point that out? I'm just trying to help. If you don't want to improve, fine. You won't if you don't atleast address the criticism you're given.
No need to actually edit your graphics. Maybe you could just post your reasoning behind why you do not wish to edit in conjunction with them? As for my criticism being meticulous, sorry but no.. maybe you shouldn't use a word you do not seem to be familiar with. Meticulous means precise in details. Firstly, criticism SHOULD be precise in details. But I'm guessing you were implying that what I was criticising your lack of precise details? Simplicity of surfaces was my main critique, which is NOT at all precise. It is extraordinarily basic. Please do not have enough stupidity to reply with "but you used the word detail", it was used to imply that your surfaces were not complex enough.
I'm not going to reply again, as you obviously do not wish to improve. Edit your piece or not, it really doesn't worry me, I'll help someone that appreciates my criticism.
Also, congratulations on your amazing ability to spot a typing error.

Roboevil
20-12-2006, 06:10 PM
I'm sorry Xero, are you completely blind or just plain ignorant. You're saying you gave me constructive criticism, advice on how to improve it or whatever and say that I ignore you because I don't want to improve?
Excuse me but I said that I acknowledged exactly what you said but decided not to post, I had nothing of importance to reply to what you said and didn't feel you needed to know. I don't appreciate saying such blunt, childish comments when you expect me to reply to you.
If you'd also read what I said you'd notice that I had wrote, "it's nothing I didn't already know myself," why reply to something like that? I could easily improve my alt, as I could any of my alts at any time, I've never been stuck for room for improvement thankyou very much.
Also, I don't know what your problem is, other people have given ways for my to improve this alt, YES I have read what they said, YES I have completely acknowledged it and NO I didn't reply to them, what makes you so special?
Also, please don't criticise my use of the word meticulous, I know exactly what it means and it works fine in my context thankyou.
Anyway, let's not turn this into a debate, this space should be filled with comments on the alt, not meaningless conversation.
