View Full Version : [Alteration] Memphis Table (my DT coursework)

You may be wondering what the title of this thread is on about. Well, part of my AS DT coursework was to design and manufacture a table or shelf out of a 600 x 600 (mm) piece of MDF.

The theme of the project was Memphis. Memphis was a company in the 60s or 70s, (I forget which) :afro: who designed furniture that was supposed to look very unusual even if it wasn't very useful. :rolleyes:

Anyway, I thought it would be nice to see if I could make a Habbo version of my project. It isn't 100% accurate especially the colours as I used spray-paint and the top was metallic purple! Looks cool in r/l. :D But I tried my best.

Althought the legs are a little squint at the sides.

Btw people the legs are meant to be diagonal. ;) And I'm sorry, I havn't got a real pic of it atm but I will try to get one uploaded ASAP. :8
