Runescape so slow.....

Runescape just hates me these couple of days...

When i log on

Loading please

Connetion lost

It works

Connetion lost

Loading please...

Then i play for like a minute then logs off

What should i do :(

Im using Windows 98 cause my fast pc my bro locked it with a pass

Firstly I would say close all un needed programs like morpheus etc, secondly I would choose unsigned applet on the pull down menu of the detail select, I have no idea if this will work but it has in the past for simular problems.

redmoon, unsigned java is for when its a shared computer, and someone else doesnt have the right settings etc.

Just saying it worked one time when my normal java player wouldn't load, so it's worth a try.

When loading Runescape isn't there an option to select with Java you have.. if so then choose the version you have :)

That happened to me, but not only with RS, my internet was messed up so we switched ISP's and it's fine now. This was a while back though.

It probs has nothing to do with your internet provider, as in my case.

Another thing you could try if you have it is loading firefox instead of IE

Happens to me on my slow pc, in free to play.

It seems to be ok on members though.
