View Full Version : All non-expiring Infractions get reversed.

I do not see how it is fair to reverse non-expiring ones, but then to keep ones that are 6 months, even though the rule now has changed to a very minimal 2 months. The non-expiring ones get removed and they stay like that, so basically what this is telling me is. I could have been a proper 'rebel' and got 15 infractions and they would all be deleted now?
You're trying to keep up to date which is good, but surely reverse the 6 month ones aswell as the never expiring ones. As now us people with 6 month have to wait ages, where people who broke rules before got them reversed, and people that broke them after only suffer 2 months.

I kind of agree. Before the 6month system came in, I have a stupid infraction that'll never expire.

when your infractions get reversed, do they ever leave your cp?
i dont like looking at it, even if it was reversed.

When it expires, or is pushed off by more (don't try that one!) I think...

Ew, that's well. Pathetic.

Anyway, I have a 6 month infraction as well for posting off topic. I agree, they should be reversed. It sucks having to wait till MAY to get it removed.

It's been four months since the non-expiring ones, so I do agree that it should have been done after 6 months. But it's not my decision of course :P

Well if MAD did say that they'll be removed in January I think you should all be petient, January is in 3 weeks, can't be that hard to wait. :)

But you shouldn't have been breaking the rules in the first place, if you didn't break the rules you wouldn't have to look at reversed infractions when you go to your User CP.

Well I support Brandon in this one. I think the 6 month ones should go ASAP.
It does makes sense to do the permanent ones first. I'm sure thats what Mad may have in mind although we haven't been told anything as yet :D

Micky, not trying to offend you but you just contradicted yourself

If the infraction we're looking at on our usercp is reversed, then it obviously means that we didnt break the rules but it was given out unfairly

No they can be reversed for more than one reason. There is a reason given
for each infraction that is reversed so it could be given incorrectly, for a technical reason such as 'testing' or because it has expires. Micky is therefore
totallty correct. Thx:)

Your infraction was deserved. I remeber adding it - you posted a link to "meat Spin" so I dont see how that was stupid?

I was talking about the permanent infractions which get reversed now, that's what you're all complaining about right?
And the things Catzsy said are also true. :)

I agree, I think it's easier for us (the smods) to first deal with all the reports of the permanent ones and then having to deal with them all at once. :) We got other things to do aswell.

I did not see this comment by ---MAD---, however I do not see what is gained from waiting 3 weeks?

We will be reversing the 6 month ones in january some time. This is so that even the last person to get the 6 month infraction would have had it for at least 2 months :).

Thanks
MAD
