I think your too strickt and enjoy giving people infactions...
E.g, A scammer wants to buy credits for rares, And you know hes scammer and you write on the forum to stop people from trusting him and you get a infraction...
But people can vouch for them so why can't we "Un-vouch" For them, I got a infraction for this and i think it's silly... :eusa_wall
I think its pretty much well explain in rule A11.
A11. Do not name anybody for hacking, scripting, trashing or any other bad things - Because we don't want innocent people being accused of illegal activities, we don't allow accusing others at all. This means it's also NOT allowed to accuse Habbo-X or Habbo Staff of abusing their powers or anything else. Also posting any images of people is NOT proof of them doing anything wrong as it could be an alteration. Even if you do have proof and know its 100% real, it is still not allowed to mention that the person has scammed/hacked etc as this starts arguments.

No the rule isn't strict at all as innocent people will just get accused of scamming, Jin posted a good example not so long ago.
tbh imo no m8

I can see your point that you can vouch for people so why are you not allowed to "unvouch" for them. But if you are wrong then it can cause an arguement and then ruin that persons thread etc..

As I Pm'ed You Im Not acusing him i know it was him, I Think this rule is silly needs to change. People trade using this forum every day and im sure people get scammed... What is habboxforum doing to prevent this? Nothing.
I think it's a bit harsh to give me a infraction...

Put yourself in Mad's/Sierks shoes
Do you want people PM'ing you every minute saying someone called you a scammer, etc?
Everythings getting beyond a joke to be honest, the staff are trying to lessen a few rules etc, you should just let them
Give them a break, all I see whenever I log on nowadays is threads moaning, at LEAST Give Mad a chance, he's already been forum manager for a couple of weeks, and look already at the improvements he's made
I'd like to see some of you run a forum as big as this-The fact is you wouldn't be able to
Give it a break

No worries at all :)
The do not accuse others of scamming rule is in place so innocent people don't get accused of scamming, as Jamie has already said, Jin constructed a decent post explaining exactly why, perhaps give it a read: http://www.habboxforum.com/showpost.php?p=2484880&postcount=4
Habbox does have a safe traders list, and we recommend that you choose people from there, or people that are vouched for. Trades on Habbox are done so at your own risk, if people trade with scammers, there is little we can do about it because it is impossible to provide proof. If you are really that worried rather than posting it, use the PM system :].

There are a small number of people on there as only the most trusted people are allowed on there.
The infraction was fair, because you broke a rule. You may say the rule itself was unfair, however the infraction was not.

i feel a warning would have been more aproptriote

No offence, but if we went by what everyone thought was "appropriate" then there wouldn't even be any Moderators, or any rules for that matter. Despite the fact most people think that would be great, the Forum would most likely fall apart.

It's not like habbox has to do something against scammers.
Trading of Seasonal Rares, Pets, Paint, Film or Credits (3 Viewing)
Only do the Pets, Paint, Film or Credit trades with people that you trust or you'll get scammed.
You are responsible for yourself, you trade with a person you trust, habbox shouldn't and isn't going to fix your mistakes or prevent them, it's your own fault. (Sounds a bit harsh but meh.)
