Hello,
This is a little Article i put together about how i think reputation works amongst the Habbox Community. Enjoy!

So what exactly is reputation or "Rep"?
Reputation are points that can be spread among users of HabboxForum to show how good/bad that person is. For example, if you like someones Room design or furni alt, you might +Rep them, which is green.

However if you don't like something or someone is doing something bad, you may -Rep them, which is red.

So why do people Rep other people?
I have been observing different ways in which people choose to +Rep other people, and it has come to a conclusion that the majority of people choose to +Rep someone So that they can get +Repped back! This means that they are asking for Reputation points from the person they repped, also repping them for no point.
People may also choose to Rep someone if:

They like a room design the person made
They like a persons Avatar
They like a persons Alteration
They are happy with a trade they have done with that person
And many more reasons
Different ways of asking for Rep
There are a few different ways of asking for rep, may are against the habbox rules so i will not suggest using them or you may get infracted.
-Signatures. This is the main way of asking for Reputation, just like my Signature, i have said that i am "Aiming" for a certain ammount of reputation, in hope that people will rep me to help me reach that target.
-"Returning rep" - This is against the habboxforum rules, do not include this in your signature. Sometimes people might put in their signature "I return all Rep", this may get people to rep you for no reason, in the hope that you get Repped back.

Getting free Rep
There is also another way of getting high ammonst of free reputation, which is allowed and probaby the easiest way of getting high reputation.

Getting V.I.P means that you are entitled to 15 free rep per month that you are a V.I.P you also have many other features which can be found on the V.I.P information page.

Highly Reputated users
Some users are very highly reputated. Once you are this highly reputated, you don't need to ask for any more rep, however alot of peope may ask you for rep by just repping you. A few high repped members get repped alot in the hope that they will rep you back. This is not always the case.

Conclusion
My conclusion is that i think that reputation is a very important thing to this forum, and should not be taken forgranted. You shouldn't ask for reputation by repping someone, because you havn't done anything to deserve it. You shouldn't encourage users to rep you, just maybe hint that you are wanting rep. The more good posts you make, the more Rep you will get!
I hope that you have enjoyed my article, i don't know what sort of reaction it will get, but oh well!

Thanks for reading! - Naylor

I wrote it cause i was trying to explain how I thought Reputation worked amongst the habboxforum community, and hopefully to save a few people from infractions ;)
