this is aimed at people who might end up in a same-gender relationship, as a long term thing.
if you was having a gay/lesbian long term relationship, would you like to have a baby?
well, you know what i mean. adopt, doner, ect.
anyway, discuss.

im unsure. i would love a child, but i guess your kid would get alot of stick & stuff when they're in school cos they have 2 mums/dads. even though thats just stupid taking the **** out of someone for that. id ask my partner whether they'd like to adopt or have a doner, but atm im really unsure [:

i hope so.
i'll use what my mate said today in class as an example.
"if you was gay, would you act straight or admit it" and then he like, looked at me. i didn't say anything, and someone goes "well, i'd just tell people. no point being somthing i'm not.." like they've got a point.

I wouldn't put the child through the humiliation of having 2 dads or 2 mothers.

but then again, in 10 years or so things may have changed, and it wouldn't be humiliating for them.

yeah i know.
but the question was (to people who might end up in a long term gay relationship) was if they would have kids via other methods.

I don't get what you're trying to say.
gay people are ledgible to adopt/foster babies/children. or (two men for example) one man could give a sperm doner to a woman, and the woman could be a surrogate mother, and it could be the other way round for women.
everyone else know what i ment..

I'd want to, but I think it's wrong tbh, not because it's unfair on the children, I just think it shouldn't happen. If I were to have children though, it'd probably be influenced by my partner and I'd have to have some form of surrogation of artificial insemination or whatever involved, I wouldn't adopt. The idea of having a child that isn't mine is gay really.

Ah well, i'm not gay but I'm not a homophobe. I would'nt have children. I don't believe that I should put a child through that much... Admittably times will have changed but still, I would'nt.

I definately wouldn't.
I think it's unstable for a child to grow up with the physcological effects of having gay parents, as i think their sexuality could be affected as well as their general well being, such as being bullied for having two mummies or two daddies. I think the prehistorical one mummy one daddy situation is a more comfortable thing, as it's often thought that if you have a problem, you don't want to discuss it with a women if you're a boy/ a guy if you're a girl.
How would two mums handle their son going through puberty, could they explain everything to them with their experiences (if needed) or puberty for a girl with two dad's?
I just think it'd be too unstable, i'm most definately NOT homophobic btw, it's just my thoughts.
EDIT:
Also, if i was a gay guy i'd like to donate my sperm for couples with no success to have some success, to let my legacy lead on in the world and bring happiness and help to others, as i'd go unused ;P
I definately wouldn't.

Although certain areas of psychology (many psychoanalysis) suggest that children with same-sex parents will have problems later in life with things like gender identity and sexuality. There is no, or very little evidence to prove this.
