Why do Habbox members care so much about rep ? :eusa_wall
Seriously... who cares ? It's pathetic. I see all the time, "REP PLS" "LATEST REP WILL BE RETURNED!"
Just, jeez. Get a life?

I've never understood either. What I always wonder, is how often people rep each other? It must be quite often...

Check in admincp...:P You only have to look at the first page of rep to notice the frequency which people rep each other

The thing I find most annoying is:

'omgz, dnt trust tht skemma, e onli gt 45 rep powa'.

it really doesn't matter.

I like giving rep to people who deserve it, so they know their work is appreciated, and vice-versa aswell. :P

I've never asked for rep. And never will. I'm not sad really.
I know a few popular members on this Forum with a high rep power
and they asked me to give them rep. You can also tell by some people
that ask for rep that have been here for only about 1/2 months with a high rep level. Weird eh?

In my opinion, reputation is a good way to show what the Forum community thinks of a particular member, generally in a positive light, and helps you to judge how seriously to take their post etc. It's a good system and also a nice way to show apprciation for someone's insight :D

So basically you'd respect someone with higher rep more. Which is pathetic.
Ever seen "ALL REP WILL BE RETURNED!!" etc ? Completely destroys the point.

Thats what it should be yes. but this doesnt work becuse

VIP automaticly get rep, hence makeing it meaningless
Alot of people trade rep, aka only good rep someone to get rep back, which is also meaningless.

As an addition to my last post, i though i would add:

The only time i ever give rep is really if i want to make a comment on a particalr post, and its not really justifable to add a new post, or i simply cant make a post, but still wish to comment. Whether its good or bad, depends on what the comments i say, good stuff or bad stuff.
I also occaonly give them when something really impresses me, or really ticks me off.

Well those that buy VIP must have a great interest in the community (most of the time anyway).

Repping back etc like that is actually against the rules :).

Doesnt stop half the forum doing it though :p Plus VIP is for those who have spare money floating around, not for those who actualy contribute alot to the forum, that can only be judged by looking at what the post.

Acctually, its not that stupid. It proves how trusted you are when you're trading from one game to another, proves that you won't scam someone (most of the time) and it also proves that you can be trusted, for example, if you hold a free furni thing and you say its an event, we can count on you to be there because you have a good reputation.

Why do you care so much, that they care so much about rep? Cause your telling them to get a life, yet your the one who is getting wound up about it.
