Me and Janeh were having an argument on Skype last night about shepherds pie. No idea why, but we were, and I said it does have cheese on, and she said it doesn't. We consoled, and got some 'strange' answers (you know who you are) and I want to know what you guys think.

Depends :P But I think it normally would have cheese, sprrrrinkly stuff on top! :o What if you are allergiv to cheese, you wouldn't put it on then.

Well... How much cheese are we talking here? It's mince and mashed potato and then I suppose you can srinkle a bit of cheese on the top if you really want to...

It has mince right, then mash, then you sprinkle cheese on the top and cook it (or do you bake it since it's pie? o.O)

it usually comes without cheese, however occasionally it does, personally without is better for me.

I never ate Shepherds Pie.
But here is a sollution:
Buy a silly pie and look if there is cheese in or on it. It isn't that hard. :D

Mmm.. I had shepherds pie for my tea :P..

Shepherds Pie can have cheese on it, but it doesn't need cheese.

Ahh... crazy people...
Anyhow, would you not be able to tell if it has cheese on it? Cheese usually melts which causes it to go all string and soft, so if that is on your pie then yes, if not then no...

no it doesn't my mum never makes it with cheese .. so the answer is no but if you wanted to sprinkle a little on top you could do ive never tried it lol but you could if your interested lol .. where you get the shepards pie conversation from lol i would be talking about something more interesting :P

does shepereds pie have cheese on it? well that depends on if you put cheese when you cook on it, or if you dont.

PS. real sheperds pie (made by shepards) would have had lamb not mince.

That is a real fact, most people think Shepherds Pie is Beef Mince. It is actually Lamb. Cottage Pie is Beef Mince.
