Looking a bit plain at the moment like you said, loving the basics at the moment but post it when its completely finished so we can say improvements and what we like and stuff, right now we cant really say too much about it.

if you do add stars and dark paint + floor it will look amazing

Change the walls and floor.
Then for the floor where there isnt much, add some random smokes, and white wool rugs in like a circle for the milkyway or something
then it'll be hot.
