Here is my news article that I can't yet post until the page I saw is live again:

Sulake have being researching the cause of lag, and have come up with a way to reduce lag, but will this increase scamming at the same time..?

The new method is for Habbos to SHARE guest rooms, with 4 owners to one room -- meaning ALL the room owners can pick up furniture.

Habbo are asking you to decide which three people you trust the most, and submit it to them, unfortunately you are not guaranteed to share with these people -- in which case they will allocate you with somebody else. The page is not yet available,

The quote below shows one of the thoughts Habbo have on the idea:

On the plus side this is an excellent way to build friendships.

But on the negative side it will lead to a huge increase in the amount of scamming! Leave your views, and don't forget Guest Services Centre (http://www.habbohotel.co.uk/habbo/en/help/contact)

Though I no that most of my m8s on here i would trust with my furni.
Still this will create so much scamming

Do they want people to get scammed or something?

They surely can't force us to do this and not be able to make a room otherwise.

If this does come out habbo are just going back on what they have said "you can't always trust people"

this has got to be habbo and sulakes worst idea yet, and theres been a lot of bad 1s.u cnt really trust ne1, unless u no them in realife, as ne1 cud b ne1. next theyl b expectin us to share accounts or sum ova idiotic idea. they must hav banged there head of summink

I doubt very much that this will ever come into practice.

Guest rooms would not be big enough, furni would be lost easily.

The lag is not a major problem, and the simple way to reduce it is to delete the pets.

I don't think they will take the chance of having protests, when you vote for who you would like to share your room with (which is at the bottom of the page), I reckon it'll say "Aprils Fools!" when you submitted, instead of "Thanks for voting!" ;)

I completely disagree, its like giving your password out :|! Other Habbos or 'owners' can pick up the furni! eg: you've payed for a parasol, and its not there since the another 'owner' picked it up and moved Habbo's, If this happens there will be alot of Habbos then will quit Habbo UK and goto other Hotels.

Would we really make you share rooms? The whole Official announcement page was an evil Habbo April Fool but, will the Orange Parasol be in the Catalogue or was that a trick too? Only time will tell!

My veiw:- Habbo is trying to decrease the amount of scams... thats why they hire hobbas. So why now, would habbo want you to share a room of 4 knowing full well that any of the other 3 can delete your furni.. I mean, if you buy credits for furni [YOUR furni] then how is it fair for others to delete it?! I think this is a BIG april fools, habbo isnt daft enough to do this sort of thing. Anyway if they do i think more people will leave due to scamming which then takes habbo hotels popularity levels right down. This isnt what habbo want or else they wouldnt be advertising on TV.

If this was to go ahead it would cause major arguements as for example, if your 'room mate(s)' were to pick the furni up and not come on habbo for a while.. then what would you do?! If there account got banned with your furni still in their hand, then you have basicly lost all you've worked for. Then, you might have a big arguement with your friend over something like this. Habbo would be havvoc if this really did happen.

And it is kinda strange that they tell us on April 1st?!? :P

This is one hell of an april fools.. (so i think) :)

Well maybe I think its quite a good idea. I dont think they would let them have owners rights over other peoples furniture otherwise thats silly. Maybe they can have owners rights over there own furniture and have normal rights over there friends furniture! See Its quite a good idea with that system to reduce Time lag. :)
