If he has a server then theres no reason why he cant make an online game. Ive read i 500 page book on multiplayer flash design and it isnt actually that hard...

I can read 100's of books on law. That doesnt mean I can do eervything a TRAINED lawer can.

He will never do this. Hes tried to make a slash/login page, and thinks that if someone codes that, he can ahve a game, which he knows nothing about.

Exactly what i thought and joe that dude wasnt talking about me he was talking about someone else. If someone lets me use there server i will create a basic one as you can learn alot of things from reading a book as i have read it thoroughly for example if you read a 500 page book on photoshop you would know how to use all of the effects etc.

I know but id do it just to prove a point so it wouldnt need a database as the usernames wont be saved youll enter a name in when you log in and then thats it no password or anything

No i mean you wouldnt have accounts atall you just type in a name and you auto enter one of several rooms. Its meant to prove it can be done but i suppose after i made it i could take it futher.

I guess that would be cool, but still a certain amount of MySQL would be needed for making moderation accounts etc.

you use XML docs as flash links it all up
