At home, we have our 42" TV and a christmas tree with tons of lights sitting right beside it. The last couple of days my Wii has been acting weird in not picking up the wiimote on the side of the christmas tree and I could never figure out what was wrong. Well tonight, I turned off the christmas tree and it fixed my problem.
This got me thinking so I turned the tree back on and I could actually point the wiimote at the tree and play any game I wanted to. I then pointed it at another strand of lights and it worked as well.
By learning all this, I have to leave it as a warning that if you have christmas lights around your TV, it could end up messing you up in a game.
