I have this HUGE problem.
Well I've been friends with my friend for 5 yrs who I will not speak of but anyways, he asked me out and I said yes.
Buttt it feels weird when he hugs me and stuff and he REALLY likes me but I don't feel anything when I'm with him. We barely talk like we used to when we were friends. It just feels boring and awkward. I don't want to break up with him cuz then that will ruin our friendship..WHAT SHOULD I DO?!?!?!?? :eusa_wall :(

See if he feels the same way? he may of noticed the awkwardness too, if he has your friendship will be safe if not atleast it won't be as bad as breakin up with him. If he gets upset give him a puppy.

I think you should just tell him that you don't feel the same way he does, and you just want to be friends. But make it very clear that you still want to be friends with him, seeing as you don't want to ruin your relationship with him. It's better you tell now then letting him find out later.

I was woundering if you liked him when you accepted to be his girlfriend,
It would be harsh to just let go, erm...
I like my friend at the momant, and if we do go out someday and she just leaves, I wouldnt realy wana be friends, because it wont feel right.

You need to be truthful with him, your basicaly leading him on if you don't feel anything towards him. It would be better for the both of you in the long run if you were honest with him now. He may not like it at first, but the more it goes on, the more it'l hurt him later on.

if i was in that situation id talk to him, tell him that that you want to be with him, but you dont want him to change from the sweet best friend he was before? hopefully that will make you talk more and be best friends and still be girlfriend / boyfriend.

Often, you dont realise how much you love someone until they are gone, so this might be whats going on in this case?
