Well, would you turn in lost money if you found some? I would but it depends on how much, if it was $100 or less, Id keep it, if it was over that I'd probably report it

what about you?

Yeah I would, but like others have said I would give in all the personal stuff and credit cards etc.. I hardly ever find lost money anyway. The last thing I remember is finding a pound in Somerfields.

I returned two $20 notes once i found sitting next to each other on the ground at school.. their policy was that if no one collected it was mine in a week.. sure enough no one collected and my honesty paid off. ;)

Honesty takes a week to pay off, deception is quick and easy.

uh huh her

if i found a wallet, i wouldn't take money out of it, i'd hand it in to the police with everything which was in it, still in it. but if it was just a note, lying around, i would take it.

Anything over £100 I'd hand it in. I'd just feel guilty.

Where are the realists at? Obviously you wouldnt hand in money ;/
My dad found a wallet once, he spotted it at like 5am one morning driving his lorry. Lmao, he pulled over on the freeway, got it and took it.
He handed the credit cards in and kept the £200.

I found a phone and I handed it in, it was a pink razor. Well when I found it I was right near the office and I thought i knew who owned it.
I haven't found much money lieing around.. However once I did find $4 on the ground, ironically when my friend was showing off his food from the canteen.

I dislike the people, who when you find money and tell them about it claim it to be theres It's happened a few times and I've just told them no, it's not yours - mine now.

I saw a woman drop twenty quid. Then I saw a bald man walk near it, look around shiftly and pocket it. It was funny to watch because he did that whole thing of whistling and trying to look innocent by trying to slide it into his pocket.

My best friends grandmother found a 100 dollar bill rolled up near the depanure/corner store. she kept it.

I would keep any money that I found on the floor. If its like a million bucks, (as if) you really think that you'd turn it in? If the guy has a million bucks cash, or even over a thousand on him, then hes gotta have some money.

No matter what amount, I'd keep it.

edit; If I saw someone drop it, then I'd give it back to them, but if its just there, too bad.

I wouldnt turn in lost money even if it was in a wallet with credit cards in and I knew where to find them. I'd put the credit cards in the bin and spend the money.. Simply because people don't really appreciate when you give em the money back. A few weeks ago my dad saw a man who was drunk drop £20 on the floor when he was getting money out of his pocket to pay for sommat in a shop. If he'd of taken it no one would of known but he give him it back and the guy didn't even say anything... Honesty doesn't always pay off :P

If it was a material item though I hand it in. A few weeks ago I was on my cousins street and found a really expensive mobile phone at the side of the door of the persons car in their drive. I knocked on their door n told em and 5 mins later they came out n gimme a tenner so even though the phone was worth more my honesty still paid off :P I could of easily of got away with that and changed the sim card or sommat, but I knew the womans daughter n the womans husband is huge anyway if he found out Id knicked it he'd of probably crushed me :p

over £50 yeah. i found a phone the other day at school and i handed that in.
saying that, if i found an ace phone in the street i wouldn't hand it in (:
