Hey, I've noticed more recently people have been talking about " parkour " or " free running " I think i saw a program about it about 8 months ago but I finally got round to it, and wouldn't mind trying it out myself. So, is there any tips or things that i should do, what to do etc.?

Parkour = PK
Traceurs(correct my spelling if wrong)/Free Runners are people who do Parkour.

I would reccomend learning BASICS first, especially how to land and roll properly. If not you can easily sprain your ankle, or worse...

Well I saw one on channel four about 8 months ago, it had that french guy in it, the co-founder of parkour. It was really good! :p Anyway, thanks for all the tips etc.

Also, Why does rolling help?

Yeah I got tips off that site also..

You might wanna enroll in a Yoga/Gymnastics class..

As some of the moves can be quite complex.

The one with the french dude was Jump London , and they talked to Robert Pires in it. They roll so that there is less impact on their feet. If they land and stand, the leg takes on alot of pressure. But if the roll .. you know what I mean ..

some boys at my school found a website where you could send videos in, dont know what it is. They do it at lunch time in our school playground, they usually video it with teir mobiles and send it in. They like run on the grass and theres this small hill which they jump off and to a foward role. Or run on slanted walls or sometimes climb on walls. it looks really sad unless ur good at it :p
