Maybe habbox should kinda pay to get rid of ads?

Habbox is a little more professional than your run of the mill freewebs and piczo sites which have adverts placed all over them which must be paid for before they are removed.
Google pay us for the space on the site and for every click, view, and hit their adverts receive. This is one of Habbox's cheif source of income and probably won't be removed in the forseeable future.

Habbox don't decide on acceptable advertisements - their done by Google based on keywords. Many threads have been made about this - there's little we can do to block anything but specific sites...

Lol, aint it like 1p a click?

No it's worth around 20p per unique hit/view. We have an average of 270 odd visitors logged into Habbox at any point so you can imagine how much it generates.
Obviously people will visit more than once but (I think) the ads automatically account for the site being so popular because of how many unique hits it receives, and pays roughly the same amount of money for each hit.
Clicks give substantially more money :)

So in your spare time, all the admins browse through the site for hours on end to raise money :P

You can add adverts aswell I think? But anyway, just delete the virus or don't click the ads, simple.

Its a well know, possibly kinda sad fact, that 70% or all google ads are owned and operated by "shady companys" the sames true of many text ad services, install the mcaffie sitewatch plugin, you'll notice that all the ads get a red cross, and that the red tick is rairl seen in the sponced links sections "/

Um, no :s.
Money is raised through the massive amount of traffic we get on the pages with the adverts (homepage).

I've deleted the file manually and through a virus scan but now I'm getting these attacks more often and from different I.P's when ever I visit Habbox related sites. = /
---MAD---, isn't this Habbox responsibility, they allowed them advertisments now I'm at risk. :(

To be honest I'd say this is your personal resposibility, as it's only you getting attacked :s.
If there was a problem with the adverts, there would be hundreds of people complaining of virus popups and alerts etc.., seeing as it is only you having this problem, I'd think it was an issue with your computer and internet and not the Habbox sites.
In addition, I previously used Norton Internet Security Professional and the in hhome virus protector and had no such problems when accessing Habbox or it's sister sites.

Google ads are pay per click, whether you have a trillion vistors or just 1 or 2 is complety irrelivent to how much they get payed, the only differnces is, chances are more people out of a trillion are actualy gona click threw on the ads "/

Yeah, how silly of me. Advertisements on your site giving which is your responsibility to help out any member who has problems or something is going wrong on the website in which result is giving me viruses is my fault.
Yeah, I completely see the errors of my ways.

Actualy only a google embed script is on there site, the adverts themselves are hosted by Google, the same is true of what processes, distrubes and handles all data in realtion to the embeded ads.
The problem actualy sounds alot like your misreading one of nortons idiotic warnings which is probably complaing about there being an embeded object on the page "/

Check the first page and see the screen shot I posted rather than saying that it 'Sounds like' I'm misreading something.

No need to get like that?
Fact of the matter is, it's only you that has the problem with the adverts and therefore cannot be described as a "problem with the site" unless you are using a unique browser that nobody else in the world has; then we might be able to find fault...
But as it stands, it is just you having the problem, so I would look at alternative means of getting around it. You could:
Contact Google
Contact Norton and Synmatec corporations
Put Habbox.com in your virus scanner safe list
Stop accessing Habbox.com homepage, and just get links to the pages you want (rare values, news etc..) which do not have the ads script.

If norton gave any useful information in its popup dialogs, that would probably be more helpful, Theres a reason i refer to them as Idiotic dialogs "/
Choose an action, click the always use this option checkbox, no more pointless dialog box.
better yet, just delete norton, your computers more at risk with it than without it now days "/ Half of spyware/virus's just exploit norton since its easyer than actualy exploiting a whole in the o/s itself "/
