I don't see how the hotel being down is news, when it happens all the time - either way, it's down for me too.

Snowstorms likely to take a while and theyll know when its going to be installed so theyll just do the good old maintenance break
This is most likely to be removal of xmas furni/snow rug and the addition of the post xmas furni.
I was logged in when it went down anyway and it was only when i tried to load up my clone that i found out ;)
