The bit where its sort of white to look like shine is wierd it doesn't look right.

instead of using loads of black lines use a dark shade of brown for the ones in the middle of the alteration if you know what i mean.

It's a complete misconception that Habbo uses loads of black lines - they use enough, but not all over the place. People who flame for that are dead wrong.

Off topic, I love your cookie sig. :S

It's totally awesome...

On topic, Habbo mainly uses paler lines to highlight wood furni instead of outlining it - I realise you've dones that in places, but I think you could do it a bit more :P

ya i just finished now i used a certain method:
if the corner is sticking out, use paler lines
if the corner is sticking in, use darker lines

Second version (with less black lines) looks cool. :)

Only thing is, the right hand side of the long chest looks a bit weird. I am talking about the bend where there are two parallel lines. The space between the two lines increases on the bend and then decreases again when it goes down.

Other thing is, what is the tall one supposed to be/do?

Anyway, the wood effect is very nice. 8/10 + Rep. <3

Edit: N2S

Not bad at all.. I haven't done anything wooden in a long time, but one of the first good pieces of art I did was wooden.. brings back memories hahaha. Anyway, the main problem I have with this is that the wood grain seems to be very even and boring, whereas in real life it's more 'all over the place'. Here's an example of what I mean.. (Ignore everything besides the grain, I know it has many problems, I made it in 2004) -
